A national police campaign is running this week to highlight the dangers of using a mobile phone while driving. Wiltshire Police is supporting the National Police Chief Council (NPCC) campaign and will be stepping up its efforts to crack down on mobile phone offences. The force was one of 36 to take part in a similar campaign in November last year, which saw 10,012 vehicles stopped and detected nearly 8,000 mobile phone offences, the highest ever total for a week of enforcement on distraction...

A Bath man has been jailed after headbutting a woman in a city centre nightclub.Callum Mark Mullin, of Snow Hill, assaulted the woman while they were in a queue to collect their coats at Po Na Na in November.
