Residents are urged to be vigilant following a spate of overnight garage break-ins. Between January 15 and 16, approximately 15 garages were broken into to the rear of Waterworks Road in Trowbridge. The incidents were reported by a resident at 7am this morning and Wiltshire police have now appealed for witnesses. Iain Richard Wicks, aged 29, of Woodhouse Road in Twerton, has been sent to prison for 18 weeks for assaulting a bus driver and damaging a bus door. He has also admitted multiple breaches of restraining orders and court orders. On January 14, Wicks contacted a woman he wasn't supposed to on Brassmill Lane. He pleaded guilty to four further offences which all took place on December 7 last year. Wicks stole a box of Cadbury's milk chocolates and harassed a man in the Co-op in High Street, Twerton....

A beautiful stretch of the canal through Sydney Gardens in Bath has been hit by a graffiti attack.
