Residents are urged to be vigilant following a spate of overnight garage break-ins. Between January 15 and 16, approximately 15 garages were broken into to the rear of Waterworks Road in Trowbridge. The incidents were reported by a resident at 7am this morning and Wiltshire police have now appealed for witnesses. Iain Richard Wicks, aged 29, of Woodhouse Road in Twerton, has been sent to prison for 18 weeks for assaulting a bus driver and damaging a bus door.
