Wheel clampings for non-payment of vehicle tax are on the rise in Bath.The number of vehicles clamped or impounded has increased by as much as 50 per cent since the paper tax disc was scrapped.Figures released following a Freedom of Information Act request show there were just five fewer clampings last month in central Bath than in the three months leading up to the change combined.
