Families are being warned not to call 999 for trivial matters - for instance, if your child won't get in the bath.
Avon and Somerset police were called on Sunday, February 5 by parents who just couldn't get their seven-year-old into the water.
Those with kids know just how frustrating bath time can be - but it should not be a police matter.
