Bath police have been praised for their work in helping to bring the killer of homeless man Thomas Downey to justice.The battered body of Mr Downey was found a year ago today, on Christmas Eve 2014, in a railway arch off the Lower Bristol Road.The 51-year-old had been beaten to death with a barbell.By December 31, police had arrested and charged another homeless man, 47-year-old Darrell Richards, with his murder.
