The couple charged with the alleged murder of teenager Becky Watts gave similar accounts of the day she went missing.
Bristol Crown Court has been hearing what Nathan Matthews and Shauna Hoare told police.
Matthews said he and Shauna Hoare visited the home of his step-sister Becky, 16, in Crown Hill on February 19, knowing that his mum would be at a hospital appointment.
